Never grasped Ren 'n' Stimpy.

me either...or i do, but...i've already done enough "crazy" talking for a few months.....(nonsensicale dumbing down of the population, i'm just old enough to understand slightly, but not old enough to have inteligible words)

kinda like, don't even worry about if that's actually 'your' thought or someone else's...'high energy' accept it anyway!

at least that was my take on it....yeah, yeah i know i said i was done. but sometimes this stuff is like roger rabit, and shave and a hair cut.....

That show is among several I was exposed to since I had kids and their mother would not let me take them completely off grid, so to speak, entertainment wise. They were limited to off line and no over the air TV, so they had to smuggle in the video tapes.

Got to admit I never did try to grasp them, are you implying you did? Muddy mud skipper theme song was one part I remember was cool though.

I'm only tipsy so I don't know if it belongs here, but I don't wanna expose my girlfriend to this... she has to do so much for me. I just finished the last 3 bottles of Upper Canada dark I had. (It's the cheapest beer I will drink, and one of those that has the maximizes the muscle-relaxant effect I need) And yeah, only 3 beers,.. my injury really resulted in a lower tolerance. I haven't been able to brew my own batch in about a year because my body just won't cooperate. I try to do small tasks and 'a little bit at a time things'... and the result is a pile of things I never get done and both can't afford to hire someone else for, nor do I even know how to 'hire someone' to do work.... I've done evrything myself for myself since I was a kid and I used to be the guy that other people hired to fix their car, plumbing, electrical, boat, VCR, roof, computer (Hardware and software) hey...most anything structural, welded, soldered, electronic, HVAC, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical...
It's been over 8 years, and yesteday at the doctor, when it got to how my coping is going..and it usually is fine in daily life, I have accepted I am injured and I just proceed optimistcally through the days as long as I don't have to talk about it. I broke completely unexpectedly when I attempted to clinically and clearly tell him about the 2 sorest and most demoralizing daily things I face: My hygeine (as it is, my girlfriend had to brush my hair for me before my appoinment, I haven't been able to for over a week because my left arm is in agony trying just to reach up)... and Eating; I Love food. Eating is painful. Half the time I open my mouth to take a bite and there's a loud 'CRACK' from the back of my neck and a thankfully brief excruciating pain like my neck's just been snapped off, followed by swelling fro between my shoulderblades right up to and inside the back of my head..... Kinda puts paid to my appetite before I've even tasted some simple pleasure I was looking forward to. So I was already in an 'easily emotionally sensitive' place when I fell down the stairs again this morning, making it impossible to go out front and clean up the pile of 3'-5' tall burdocks I finally hacked down yesterday, but was in too much pain to take away.
Sorry if this is a downer. I don't want supportive comments to follow, but at the same time, I have to say this to siomeone.

Sorry that your life is burdened with these struggles. Take care.

Brew on :mug:

sugar-free chocolate fudge pudding made with 1 cup heavy cream & 1 cup half & half.

which would be 2 cups quarter & threequarters

At some point in the evening, the question always begs; now what should I do?

And if no longer rhetorical question?

"Next time you're feeling down, remember life is all about perspective.
I have a friend that has sex 2 or 3 times a week, he exercises twice a day, he reads two books a week.
Yet, every day, he complains about how much he hates prison.
Think about that."

Some youtube comedian :D

What, now we've gone upscale around here and we have to credit our plagiarized comedic resources??!!

Someone posted they had a fire in their house. Humans, dogs & cats made it out, the aquarium denizens were not so fortunate.

Someone posts "fried fish on the menu!'

I point out the little guys boiled long before they got fried

not random, but a 'first thought that came to mind'...is that some sorta steel guitar thing on your living room floor? musical instrument of some sort?

didn't think of that, could explain the HUGE floor boards i guess....and the fact the chairs look like little metal things designed for flicking with a finger...

movie: Beautician & the Beast

Beautician (flashy girl from Flushing) hired as tutor for Beast's (authoritarian tyrant 007) children teaches them Romeo & Juliet by showing West Side Story

oldest kid: I knew there were gang problems in America, I did not know they were so proficient in ballet

Wow. You're quite the Renaissance Man, what with Kid Rock, Broadway shows and chick flicks.
