Oddly sounds delicious
I've yet to try anything from Harmonic. Just assumed they were trash like most other newer SF breweries. Are they...ok? Please do the needful and advise.

I’m out in SF for a couple of days and saw signs out on the street for Blackhammer etc, feeling justified in not stopping in.
City Beer Store is still a great place to drink. Glad I got to go back before the move.
welp...that's kinda the answer for the moment :|Would not say they are as terrible as Local, Black Hammer, etc. but would group them in the don't go out of your way.
But Barebottle is worth the visit. Good beers, lots of variety, and awesome space.
Also, we are moving north to your area. Need the information on any good beer spots. Unless the answer is Beercraft.
It is easy, go to:
Probably forgot one or two
- Toronado
- City Beer Store
- Cellarmaker
- Crafty Fox
- Old Devil Moon
- Barebottle
San Fran is so deeply hurtful. I know you’ve left, but I will call LA Los Ang if we ever meet up. Frisco is good.Still haven't been to Old Devil Moon. Old friend from LA is one of the dudes that started it. Need to make it next time I'm in San Fran aka Frisco![]()

SF is preferred. Techbro City is fine, but only if it refers to SoMa.How is just SF? Or Techbro City?
Another Brut IPA to put into the:
This style Is ******* terrible. Kill it now.

Alvarado St artwork always sucksOh god that label art...
I had that tonight. I figured Alvarado St couldn't make something called an IPA that was bad, right? Turns out yes, yes they can, because that beer is ******* garbage.Another Brut IPA to put into the:

As is virtually every brut IPA. Who could have guessed a beer style invented by ******* Social Kitchen would suck?I had that tonight. I figured Alvarado St couldn't make something called an IPA that was bad, right? Turns out yes, yes they can, because that beer is ******* garbage.
So ******* awful.Another Brut IPA to put into the:

Tried my first Brut IPA this evening from Pollyana Brewing (Lemont, IL), and it was most certainly not my thing at all. I like the idea of the style, and I'll need to try a few more versions before I can write it off, but it wasn't a good start.
Yep. But with weird off flavors from allegedly neutral ale yeasts.I haven't had the "pleasure" yet, but is it basically just a super-dry IPA with prickly carb?
This makes me sad.Old man bar in town has a hazy IPA from a local brewery on tap
I hear you but it's one of the few I like at least. Maplewood's Son of Juice. But it didn't really go with the beat up pool table and window a/c unit dripping on you when you walk through the front door aesthetic of the place. This makes me sad.

Sorry for your loss.Last night I was drinking with neighbors and accidentally knocked a full bottle of Misbeehavin Buckwheat blossom from a chair onto a concrete surface. The bottle exploded and all the mead was lost. What a sight it was.
I love that I googled to see what the bottle looked like and this was the 2nd image result, lol:Last night I was drinking with neighbors and accidentally knocked a full bottle of Misbeehavin Buckwheat blossom from a chair onto a concrete surface.
