A brewery north of Pittsburgh called Koehler Brewing Company put up some pictures that some members in various Pittsburgh beer groups found to be racially insensitive. People sent them messages asking to take it down, to which the brewery pretty much replied "lol, go **** yourselves snowflakes" and spewed some vulgar insults to a bunch of people. Talking smack to the public usually doesn't fly too well, and as more people caught wind of this, the numbers of pissed off people grew. This was the response the owner's wife or whomever she is sent to a moderator one of the beer groups. I'm surprised that she didn't say that members' phone lines were being tapped. Reviewing the place is now disabled as well.

Got an email for a shipment rate change on an 8 shipper from OR to NY which is generally 40 bucks give or take. Rate change was to 67.97 so naturally being pretty surprised, I called. They re-rated it and refunded me 24.99 and said sorry. Wonder how many times they've done that.

Also worth noting is now they add 4.00 per item I ship because I am in an "extended service area" wtf? **** off FedEx.

I'm pretty anti hazeboii, but Double Dry Hopped Fort Point is a solid beer.

This is Trillium's best beer IMO, and one I really enjoy drinking. It has little-to-none of the "burn" that sometimes gets associated with these beers. I've drank a 4-pack in one sitting without issue.

While I didn't love this beer (to be fair it was purchased along with a 4 pack of Fader Pils from Half Acre), I found this to be quite entertaining.

I’ll still normally reach for Pivo, but FSW Lager and Founders Gold are both perfect for crushing on a hot day.

This is an example where I really have no clue how breweries manage to get the beer to look so gross and ******. I've added a lot of crap to homebrews without ever having them look like turbid mash wort. Like, I did a berliner that ended up with 25lbs of fruit in a 5 gallon batch, including 10 directly in the serving keg, and it was way less opaque than that.

It's one of the best haze beers out there.
