He tracked the poster -- who lives out-of-state -- and contacted the local police. Officers showed up at the person's door and said further interactions with Moutela would bring an arrest, he said.

So Wakefield sold "vintage/cellar" to-go bottles (which included **** released two weeks ago) today right out of the brewery at basically secondary market prices. I was wondering when a brewery was finally going to go the whole nine yards and start doing that, as opposed to what HotD, Westbrook, TG and a few other places have done with overpriced-but-not-secondary-price vintage on-site menus and the like. That Wakefield was the first to cross the Rubicon in this respect is not surprising in the least.

EDIT: okay, so apparently the proceeds may have been for charity in which case I'll retract this statement, but that wasn't posted or communicated and it's not entirely clear if that's actually what happened.
