No idea if it’s bad PR overall (plus, even for a botique beer nerd brewery like SP, how many potential customers will catch wind of it). Personally though, asking club members who already paid you who knows what for the privilege of getting your beers to send you photo evidence is super douchey.

Read the email? Probably 100% because I'm sure everyone who's actually in that club watches their email for beer announcements etc.

Nope. I’ve never even been to Side Project. I’ve never resold a single bottle myself, but I’ve got no issue with it. Although, I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to sell a couple recently so maybe I’m found it wrong.

I have no idea how this club works, but based on the mention of the date and time the beer was purchased by, is this a situation where not everyone has had the chance to buy bottles yet? I recall something similar occurred with the HF Collected Works deal when someone sold a member bottle right after release. So maybe it only went to those who have bottles picked up already.

I've picked up bottles, but I haven't gotten an email. One of the rules of the club was no selling or razzling for profit, and if someone is doingit on the first release then they will likely continue.
