Random Beer Thoughts

One of the area's better beer bars has an all-stout line up being tapped later today, and they're all high abv. So much as I'd like to drink all of the below, that isn't practical. Any suggestions as to the best couple to order?

The beers under consideration:
AleSmith Hawaiian Speedway Stout
Boulevard/Firestone Walker Collaboration #6
Lagunitas Willetized Coffee Stout
Mikkeller Tree Blood
Stone Mikhail's Odd
Upland Bourbon Barrel Teddy Bear Kisses

I would say Speedway and Willetized. If Willetized is available in bottles in your area, I would probably go with Boulevard/FW instead.

Speedway and Mikhail's, particularly if you have Willetized distro.

Haven't seen the prices yet, but whenever they do an event like this they standardize prices, and usually on the high end. I'm assuming all of the above are likely to go for around $8 per 5 oz pour.

Absolutely this, given circumstances. This year's Mikhail's is also freaking fantastic. I agree that it's the best beer Stone has ever made.

When most of the recs are made after I've already visited, there's only so much I can do.

But sure, as to more info:

Hawaiian Speedway was fine, but I expected more coconut. Better than regular and Mokasida, not on par with BA Speedway and Vietnamese Coffee Speedway. Tree Blood was the best of the day, had nice maple notes without being overwhelming, and concealed its abv well. Not the best stout Mikkeller has made, but among the better ones. Bourbon Teddy Bear Kisses was crap, and a complete waste of PVW 23 barrels. Upland should stick to making sours.
