100 bucks for a 4-pack, some glasses, and a ******* -shot- of beer? Yeah, no thanks.

At that price you could get floor seats to see Nickelback at the Iowa State Fair

Yeah but the resale one one of those bottles pays for the whole trip! I guess two if you count the "having to spend time in Iowa" tax.

Can't deny it's a pretty crazy price but, its actually less per ounce that the last MD release (same $, 44oz vs 48oz). Didn't foresee them going down in price.

Yeah I don't really care so much about the bottle price honestly. I think it's more just the absurdity of offering a ~2oz pour of the beer in an espresso shot glass. At least last time (I think) they actually served a proper glass of beer to their customers.

Well, this is Iowa, so they're just giving their patrons the traditional midwest pours to which they are all accustomed. Why huddle up in someone's backyard for a splash of beer when you can go straight to the source, get your tick, and then sell all your bottles for maxx profitzzz.

We should really be applauding TG for knowing their customers so well.

Agreed, that's pretty douchey.

Very happy that WA was completely ignored. Lots of great hazy NExPNW IPAs being made here. Keep the hypebois away.

Also happy they didn't mention this year's 3-Way. I'd rather not have to fight for cans of shelf beer.
Lol just seeing this now somehow. Didn't actually ignore WA, I was writing about Lush Land which I think is one of the best Pales out there, but the guys there said they didn't have time to talk when I reached out.

Bought a Stone RuinTen w/ Orange/Vanilla as well as some orange juice make beer sorbet later.

... ... if I ever get home from clothes shopping...
Today's beer sorbet: Austin Beerworks Einhorn Berlinerweiss with raspberry lemonade. Kind of trying to make something akin to a dessert version of Raspberry Finkle from the brewery taproom.

It's 100 degrees out... beer just ain't cool enough!

"India Oat Kolsch w/ Yuzu" is something a beer nerd on the Big Bang Theory would say to raucous canned laughter.

Why is beer today the way it is?

I like that they went through the trouble of collaborating with Tired Hands and releasing it in cans and it's not a milkshake IPA or whatever. What I don't like is the untappd checkin I saw saying this was the best kolsch they'd ever had.

Holy Mountain did a collab with Tired Hands and made a pilsner. They didn't can it, but I still thought it was super lulzworthy with all the hype around both brewery's juice offerings. Pretty good pilz, though.
