Since they're owned by the same company (Duvel), this has got to be a little teeny tiny touch of marketing. "Trusted Friends".... right.

Maybe that's just old cynical me though. :)
That actually makes more sense now. My initial mentality was, why go all the way to KC to brew beer when you have friends in your own state who would probably be more than happy to help you out?

Next time they'll be brewing Sucaba with their "buddies" over at Ommegang. ;)

People are probably jealous of the fact that you (or whoever took the photo) have the opportunity to take advantage of a big stack of prabola, and i'm just sitting here in Maryland jealous over the fact that there are costscos out there that sell beer.
Not my Costco, but yeah, that's nice. At my Costco they have bottles of Speedway for $6.99 I believe, and 24-packs of Karl Strauss Mosaic Session for $29.99.

If it'll help you feel less jealous, our local Costco sells Two Brothers beer.

No alcohol, no meat? Is it really even a Costco at that point? Make sure the sign doesn't say Gostco.

Nah, they sell meat. I was making an analogy. 90 percent of the reason why i go to costco is for the steaks. Got me some ribeye caps the other week actually. Never had that particular cut before, but i hear good things.
