Does anyone know the backstory behind one of the FB comments: "At least you didn't fire Brad's wife on his birthday!"

Comment seems savage as ****, but I need the proper context behind this.

Go to Cracker Barrel's FB page..

I haven't seen the source materials floating around in a while but but basically some dude complained on social media that his wife got fired from Cracker Barrel on his birthday after working there for 11 years. Then the entire internet decided to troll Cracker Barrel moving forward. Many lols on that FB feed

I'm waiting for a beer I can describe as drinking bigly.

It would probably be a NE DIPA with crushed taco bowl shells, cheeto shavings, spun caramelized sugar nests, mango, bacon, hate, Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic hops.
I would say Tired Hands or The Veil will be coming out with this shortly

I really thought you were kidding.

Hoped, even.

About the existence, or about it being good? Because it really was pretty awesome, and that was a couple of years ago so predating a lot of the current silliness with IPAs. No real hype behind it that I can recall either, it just happened to be on tap at Cellarmaker while I was visiting friends in the Bay area and we crushed the hell out of it.

Ya I was skeptical as hell of it, but really dug the Cellarmaker brewed version. Who knew that cilantro would go well with hops?

"Many challenges hit us in the face and we emerged bloodied but better."

This is about the disputed sale of a vintage bottle of beer right? I mean, I could understand writing something like that if they were having some nightmare of a brew day where a fermenter blew open or the boil kettle went volcanic or something, but yeesh.

I would rather a kettle explode covering me in scalding caustic than put up with the beer community from a customer service angle.
