Lizard sounds just weird and/or awful. But I have to admit, it took me three tries to like Bomb. Had it out of a bottle, then OT, then bottle again, before I could really say I thought it was okay.

I feel weird that I'm mostly indifferent to things like this. Sitting in a bar, paying a ridiculous amount for small tastes amongst a crowd of dorks, and having to appraise and coo over every beer (I'm sure they will be good, of course) just doesn't seem fun anymore.

it's honestly one of the worst things about beer

there's almost zero respect for the past. but simultaneously there's zero respect for the present and future.

everything in the past was horrible. anything out now is garbage and anything that is about to be released is over-hyped trade bait.


can't think of an equivalent in other industries where people are so angry about the product they love
