You folks seem to enjoy some good beer trading humor today, so right below the aforementioned St Louis trading debacle on my FB timeline is this gem that I'm sure will go over well here from the Vermont ISO/FT:
"Ft: I have lot of Foundation Epiphany and Afterglow, some Bissell Brothers Substance and a couple Maine Lunch, KBS and Foundation Forge. Epiphany is my new favorite beer.
ISO: Fresh tree house, Heady, Sos, double sunshine, second fiddle, Some Trillium stuff or possibly stuff around or above 4.4 avg on beer advocate"

Love that his palate has a distinct dividing line that correlates to BA scores. I'm sure his FT is totally going to get that done.

I am sure he only meant the bros ratings.

It's kind of funny, the rest of his ISO:FT seems pretty reasonable (if possibly a bit hard to do due to overlap issues)...up until the bolded part.

I like how they actually went back and changed their Two-Hearted "The Bros" rating because it was so embarrassing (a 73, if I recall correctly).

I'm in Rockland county. Decicco's had an instagram post about it. Fortunately islands was da bomb, as was booming rollers.
The DeCicco's in Brewster is the one I go to occasionally. I checked their facebook page and it looks like they're having a tap night but no mention of getting cans or bottles.

Exactly to both of these. It's a lose: lose on this one. The STL group couldn't just let that guy be the worst, they had to "out worst" him.

That guy has since come back a apologized a bit. St. Louisans tend to get defensive about stuff (I realize I am doing just that), mostly because the city gets **** on a lot. Sometimes it's called for, most of the time it isn't. There are profiteering ******** everywhere, the "STL traders are shitlords" thing is played out. Can't we all agree to just **** on Florida? :D

Why don't I use mine for that? I should get tips from dontdrinkbeer.
caveat emptor: the people usually clamoring to send you **** are usually like some obscure 7bbl 5 tap handle brewery outside of Birmingham that SWEARS their crystal laden IPA has the locals losing their **** more than trans-bathroom debates.

then you have a hot dilemma of:
1) accept something knowing you are likely gonna beat up on it OR
2) respectfully decline and look like a prick.

for every one of those boxes your cordially accept, dipshits will be like MAN U SOLD OUT, even if you **** that brewery up and provide exposure with an even hand. Because trading for ****** beer and panning it is more noble

wait what ******* forum am I in right now
