Pretty much anything with French in it is guaranteed to be completely ****** up by monolingual plebs. I couldn't even begin a list. Sarrasin is one of them. Actually pretty much anything from HF.
You just need a community college philosophy degree to pronounce that kind of ****.

I'd also add to that list

Never Mikkeller ever

You enjoyed the Mikkeller freshies at FFF as much asI did.

I've still only ever had two Mikkeller beers that I thought were good / would purchase again.

Dry Hopped Nelson Sauvin

Cognac Barrel Aged George

Other than those I am not a fan and while I'll try something new (although I have never purchased a Mikkeller at FFF), I certainly wouldn't spend my own money on it.

I've been to a few of the Mikkeller bars and had great stuff but yeah totally overpriced and I would never buy bottles.

For a while FFF ONLY had super hoppy things on and Mikkeller guest taps so I got into the habit of ordering the Mikkeller of the day. Most were awesome and random Black Hole variants.

Mikkeller Copenhagen (original one, I think?) had lots of their stuff on tap, but settled for ~$24 bottles of '05 Vig.
That's amazing, wasn't that cheap when I went. $50 for 03 LPG, still a great price IMO. Vintage Lam and Vig were gone.

^^This. When I was there I bought as much reasonably priced vintage lambic as I could. Bartenders would prod me to try/buy some of the Spontan's but would leave me alone when I obliged their requests for small samples of bottles I was buying.

10/10 would bang again purely for the vintage list.

Trying to visit grandma instead of going to Gothenburg and Copenhagen. You're not helping.

Yeah. Looking at making an east coast run where we can slip in a visit in your area, maybe if we play our cards right start up my mom, dad and neorunner and work our way down.

Let me know and if things work out we can have Carnivore's Revenge 5. I'll do my "ham baked in HF bourbon barrel maple syrup" dish that you sounded angry to have missed last time.

You know, every single IPA I've had that has that "NE Hops" hype has been no better than Jai Alai or Enjoy By. From Toppling Goliath to Trillium to Tree House.
