In after the lock. Dafuq is wrong with you guys? Why are responses to everything so negative and hyperbolic lately? Take a moment and remember what it would be like without this place, because you guys might just make that come true.

Gene you need to suppress your hate. Hate is the path to the dark side:

I am pretty sure if B. United started distro here, they'd make a profit just on the amount of De Dolle & BFM I would buy. This message brought to you by how bummed I am to be down to my last bottle of anything De Dolle right now.
I work in a shop that has a nice selection of B. United stuff if interested in a #gopickitupformebro

Whoa, awesome! I will probably take you up on that offer after my next paycheck... not even looking for anything fancy (unless any Oerbier Riserva is around), but just love Oer/Arabier, Bos Keun, 225, etc. Hnnnng.

As long as we arnt closed due to the storm coming our way I will get a list of what we have from De Dolle & Bfm as well as some others such as duchessic and such. Otherwise I will get you that list next week.

Bought a Death by Coconut because the guy at my bottle shop presented it to me like it was the most limited thing ever. I don't love coconut, so I figured I would give it to my wife who loves all things coconut and mounds. I took a sip, definitely liquid mounds bar. Wife hated it because it was too beery.

Such is life.

So I don't know **** about the classic German styles and for the most part I don't like them. The last few days I've been doing a copywriting job that has had me writing about German beers. As a result I decided to grab a weihenstephan dunkel and a weizenbock.

So far, the dunkel is... good I guess? Going by my research it seems to be spot on for the style. Certainly a lot of depth which is nice. Bread, watery coffee, hazelnuts.

I dunno. Maybe I'll get super into Germans and become boring as **** talking about purity law... and also the reinheitsgebot.

Sometimes I like a traditional German style beer to wash down a meal. When I was first expanding my craft beer knowledge I was super into Maibock's because they were basically big German malt bombs. I like them for the same reasons I like barleywines and old ales, but there's a season to them.
