I just saw someone describe a beer as tasting like a buttery Crooked Stave beer - and then continued to say that it was awesome. I just don't understand...people actually like that flavor in beer?

I had Bullfrogs Old Gold Kriek which could be best described as smelling like movie popcorn butter and tasting like blue cheese. They were breaking in a new foudre. Honestly I kind of enjoyed the beer.

I thought it was a widely-acknowledged that Crooked Stave had some diacetyl issues here and there, but I think it was more prevalent a year or two ago.

I've mostly only been drinking Crooked Stave in the past 9 months or so, so I guess I missed most of those diacetyl laden beers

I'm about to meet with a guy who oversees a couple of beer brands in the hopes he'll invest in stuff. I didn't know wtf to wear so I went with a tshirt from a punk band that says "Austrail-yeah" in big letters. I figured I left corporate management for a reason.
