I like the new Jacks Abby branding.

Just sayin'.

Nothing bad about it or wrong with it in any way. In fact I think it's pretty well executed. Just thinking it will blend in more with everything else on the shelves, which depending on your viewpoint may not be a bad thing to some. It's really just mostly nostagalia for the old logo and labels, and me being a curmudgeon about change to things I like. Will still buy a shitload of JA beer.

I prefer the old Jack's Abby branding, but I think it was way too amateurish looking to really work if they're expanding to more parts of the country. I think it was charming and indicative of the company, particularly when they were a little smaller than they currently are, but by the same token it's likely to put off someone who is casually browsing, sees cheap looking art, and then moves on to something that looks more professionally packaged.

The new design may lack the personal touch of the original art they used but I think it's way better positioned to not be immediately off-putting to someone who has never heard of Jack's Abby before. There's absolutely a risk of blending in with the competition, but I think that's a much smaller risk than they would run by keeping the undeniably cheap looking artwork they were using previously.

.....how do you know, if they are on ignore?
That's basically my question. If I don't know, does it matter. What if they win but I don't ever see it so I choose a runnerup or something.

The answer depends on whether or not I'm on your ignore list.

I paid $100 for my OG KBS glass, but that was a few years back and it would go for probably at least double that now. I was also offered $200 for my Black Friday Goose Island glass for the OG Rare, but as I didn't need the money / like the glass I passed on it.

Glassware is even stupider than beer at times.
FYI if anyone ever wants to give me $200 for a glass that I have, the answer is yes.
