Have met the farmers from this project (well, Stumptown's project, as they can do whatever they want with the beans they get). The gesha beans (roasted at counter culture) were phenomenal.

Cold brewing likely ruins all of the subtlety of this massively delicate bean. Bummer

I tried out the "Retire My Account" function last night with great results....





Should be called "Ban My Account", lol. I'll never know what that 1 message was.

This was after I received 2 warnings in the last 2 days for "trolling" and basically everything I posted yesterday deleted without explanation.

Don't need the headache.... plus the good majority of my local friends have either migrated over here or have dual accounts.

I thought about going out in a ball of flames and hatred, but that site was really a gas when I first got into beer and I owe them that. It's sad to see it has gone so far downhill. So many fun threads 2-3 years back and so many acquaintances made.

I've been holding the BT/TB flag high in Austin for the past year and will continue to let people see the light over here.

I think the same thing just about every time I open a Reserva or standard Oerbier. Two of my all-time favorites.
