Just go for a cognac barrel aged caviar and cocaine stout

Adam J*cks*n? Might be too deep of a cut...Homie 1: "Did this close?"
Homie 2: "Nope, are you down?
Homie 1: "Maybe, let me check with my cellar partner."

In the early 2000s, my dad got to a position in his company where his company car was a Lexus RX300, at the time THE luxury SUV.When my Dad retired he finally bought the Cadillac he had been talking about buying for years. I played this song for him and asked if he was going to throw some d's on it. He was not impressed.

So far as I know. It's just a label of Lost Abbey/Port.Hop Concept still being produced?
Like 4 years ago they were breaking all the 4-packs and selling for $8/each at this store. Behind the counter. Limit 2 pp.Still cases of it stacked up at my local store, too, along with bombers of CBS. Too pricey for me these days.
I wonder if they'll ever drop the price? Maybe they'll just scale back to make it more scarce again to try to drum up the hype. I personally love it being a year round seasonal pretty much now.Still cases of it stacked up at my local store, too, along with bombers of CBS. Too pricey for me these days.
My guess is that they "overshot the market" when they started making more KBS. Same kind of goes for BCBS too. Plus there are more local breweries making similar beers year-round that you don't need to wait for these beers. I feel like we discussed this before but whatever.

Great point. Acquiring the yearly vintage used to be desirable. Nobody talks about opening verticals or multiple vintages side by side anymore.i also kinda wonder how much ticker culture is permeating into the collective craft beer drinker market segment. it seems like years ago it was only a handful of guys who constantly had to try the newest and didn't drink the old standbys, but it feels like that's everyone now. i only casually observe the local fb groups, but noone drinks the same thing more than once, and breweries are feeding into that by releasing a thousand different micro variations of the same old ********.
or kbs and bcs don't have enough unicorn sprinkles and tollhouse cookie dough thrown in.

I was at my homebrew club on Sunday with my new orange cider. Crystal clear (as god intended) but with creamy vanilla/orange (like a dreamsicle).
I start talking with one of the other members who, consequently, is now a commercial brewer telling him the process and how I made it and he drops at the end "Thanks for the help ... I'll probably use that same technique on the Orange Creamsicle Hazy Milkshake IPA we're making next! Thanks so much! Come by and try it!"

excellent gif usage.
I love ticking new beers but have scaled back on it big time because more often than not 7/8 out of 10 of the beers just aren't very good and not worth the money for me. I still try to grab a few new singles every time I buy beer but more often than not I just restock the "cheap" regular **** like Allagash White and Rivertrip cans a Founders Breakfast stout.i also kinda wonder how much ticker culture is permeating into the collective craft beer drinker market segment. it seems like years ago it was only a handful of guys who constantly had to try the newest and didn't drink the old standbys, but it feels like that's everyone now. i only casually observe the local fb groups, but noone drinks the same thing more than once, and breweries are feeding into that by releasing a thousand different micro variations of the same old ********.
