Huh, Other Half hired Eric Salazar to handle their sour and BA program. Innnnnnnnteresting.
I didn't know they even had a sour/BA program. Where do they have room for one with all those industrial grade juicers taking up space?
They recently bought a huge production facility south of Rochester NY. Similar to what Singlecut did in Albany NY. So they both operate two facilities.

And they are opening up a 3rd in DC too.
Really? Where and projected for when?
That sounds terrible.
+1 to this. I don’t think anyone has ever traded Scots because it is incredible. It does sound weird... but it’s actually incredible.
Wood bang.
In like 5 years when it will actually taste good.
That sounds terrible.
I ******* hate wee heavies. But Scots Gone Wild is one of my favorite beers ever. Srs.
If you didbt live in Polynesia Id send you some.
Aged triple IPAs become barleywines...etc.

Trading for Dogfish Head is a very 2007-ass thing to do.Mostly curious because DFH is not even on most #newmoney shitlords' radar, I would imagine. I'm not at all involved in the trade game, so it doesn't matter to me, but I love to see how some of this madness goes down.
I'm surprised it took them this long to get in on the "exclusive brewery only" high priced release ******** game. Sales must be slowing down on all the ******** gimmicky beers they've been putting out the last decade or so.Mostly curious because DFH is not even on most #newmoney shitlords' radar, I would imagine. How long is a while? I only recall a couple of them within the last 6-12 months. They've been doing brewery releases for a while.
Manufacturing hype is manufacturing hype.yeah, their strategy to pump-up sales is to make $18,000 in bottle sales on a Saturday every now and then and not from putting out low-calorie beers.
There's been at least 6 releases that I recall in the past year, I know they had their EBF beer, barrel aged 120 (not the same as this rye version) and several beers from their wild program. They do a small release for their EBF beer every year. How long is a while? I only recall a couple of them within the last 6-12 months.
Not sure what you expect them to do as a business, just roll over and die?Manufacturing hype is manufacturing hype.
