raginasian238 told me about that. I can drink the last 1/3 myself, but the whole mag scares me.definitely outdoors. someone brought a mag to zwanze a few years back. basically 2/3 of the mag geysered out. it was majestic.

So my goal is to decrease my cellar substantially this year. So far, I've opened 40 bottles and brought just 1 new bottle into my apartment. I was very proud of myself for being down 39 bottles by mid february. Until I realized via brewery/meadery memberships, I've actually purchased 33 more bottles. They just aren't here yet. So I'm really only -6.

Had my first Monkish IPA... That's what people line up for hours and go crazy for? What a ******* disappointment.
We have minimized the number of memberships we are in (two and one is lifetime so no renewal fee), and the amount of bottles we have reduced from when we committed to cellar reduction is more than a sane person's cellar, so we are doing pretty well. We still have a way to go, but quality is up, things meant to age are up.So my goal is to decrease my cellar substantially this year. Any number down is progress. Keep it up.
My reaction to Tired Hands. Or really any of the hype IPA breweries. They tend to be fine beers but I wouldn’t spend my day waiting in line for them or go crazy trading for them. Once upon a time when there weren’t a lot of great IPA breweries fine I get it but now there are too many good options on the shelf and my trash palate can’t tell the difference between the shelfies and the hype cans.Had my first Monkish IPA... Haha nope. And actually I miscounted. Three memberships. Two are lifetime. Ope.Anytime you wanna give up that lifetime memb...j/k - nobody trying to do that.
they were up here last june as part of the "juicy brews" fest and I thought their pils was the highlite of the dayResident Culture beer coming along nicely.
As annoying as a lot of the current beer trends can be, the current overwhelming trend in glassware - multicolored glasses ripping off intellectual property from various pop-culture sources - is infinitely worse. And even for the ones that aren't ripoffs (so glasses using the breweries beers/logos/etc), I'm really not a fan of this style, with few exceptions. Just typically way too much going on and too many colors that don't work well together.
Would you say that Hill Farmstead is the best of the best when it comes to glassware??

I'm glad I never got into the glassware game. I've collected a few from here and there but definitely never searched a bunch out.
I typically only use Willi's and can shape glasses for the most part.
agreed. I threw away like 40 glasses recently and probably need to throw away more. Was kinda stoked when the galaga one came out originally cause I'm a huge fan and used to have a cabinet (high score around 400k), but then saw they were going for like $100 to which I thought to myself:As annoying as a lot of the current beer trends can be, the current overwhelming trend in glassware - multicolored glasses ripping off intellectual property from various pop-culture sources - is infinitely worse. I need to clean out everything in my kitchen for an upcoming renovation. Currently have just about two full cabinets of beer glasses and I'm looking forward to only moving a handful back in.The rest are literally just cabinet fodder at this point.
I've got a probably 300 .rar and specialty glassware pieces and routinely only use a willi from a local i don't care about and dishwash, a goblet from tyranena that's completely washed away, a teku from a local, or a quart mason jar for intiharing black tuesdays. workhorses.

I used to care, I just don't any more.
Unless you want to offload 3F fountains glasses. Then I'm your huckleberry.
I follow one of these glassware shitlords and wanted to buy one until I saw it was $40 for 2 glasses.
