...Why can't you do that with a normal faucet? I do that all the time off my kegerator with Perlicks.

Yeah, I do the same by regulating the flow control valve and the tap handle. You can pretty well duplicate the side pull with Rotos by building a layer of foam and getting the tap under it. Thinking about seeing if I can modify them with a longer stem to get the same effect as the side pulls.

That seems an odd choice. Isn’t beer anti-microbial inherently?

From pathogens that would get you sick, mostly yes. We always would spray down the taps with 70% isopropyl alcohol a couple times a shift. And we would change out microfiber cloths constantly.

I have three bar rags. One for the bar itself, one for taps/drip tray and wiping off overflow on clean glasses or growlers, one for drying clean glasses. If I think someone ****** with my system, time for all clean rags.

which one do you use for a jersey turnpike shot?

lol, didn't even notice you're actually in new jersey too. perfect.

I didn't know people called it a Jersey Turnpike outside of Jersey lol. I'm just at a brewery so you can't really get the full turnpike experience from even the dirtiest of my rags.

it is amazing the things we willingly put into our mouths.
Showed this pic to a friend of mine to which he responded, "I'd try that" and went on to try and justify how there's probably nothing wrong with it.

**** this

And when I saw this I said I'm basically done with Trillium (not that that really means much at this point). I miss the days of overpriced bombers of delicious Fort Point and Congress St.

I miss going to Ft. Point after work and getting growlers of Little Rooster with no line and having a couple of samples while I waited.

In almost every aspect except for the lack of a baller Italian deli within a stone's throw of your proximity at all times.

I sort of figured that would be the answer.

One time I went to the baller Italian deli down the street from the brewery for dinner and wanted a chicken parm sub. They didn't have any bread left so I was trying to figure out what else to order. The owner says "Don't worry about it. I'll make some fresh and drop it off to you in a little while." I then had the best chicken parm sub of my life.

While that's entertaining knowing the background with Shaun, I've had hop forward beers get lightstruck in minutes under direct sunlight before for sure.

I still drank and enjoyed them as well.
Second this, happened just yesterday when I was drinking a beer outdoors. Skunked within 5 minutes.

So my goal is to decrease my cellar substantially this year. So far, I've opened 40 bottles and brought just 1 new bottle into my apartment. I was very proud of myself for being down 39 bottles by mid february. Until I realized via brewery/meadery memberships, I've actually purchased 33 more bottles. They just aren't here yet. So I'm really only -6.

I'm trying to do away with my entire "cellar." Before I moved I managed to get rid of 50 bottles, only had to move with 8 full cases. I have since drank down quite a bit more, but what the **** do I do with Plan Bee Hive v1 bottles?

HAHA. I have the same problem. I've been just drinking them. I am drinking bouquet #1 right now. It's actually really good. I have 17 more bottles from the 1st hive and 9 bottles from pre-membership (22oz bottles).

Only 2 more 22oz left. Sour Apple and CopperBee. Last 2 b1 anything I opened ended up on my ceiling.

I still have 3 mags from when I was a member. I'm afraid yo even think about opening them.
