Would be happy to do that for you. They have a crazy member program that is 24 barrel aged 750mL beers for $300. They haven't all been amazing, but their shelf beers are some of my favorites.

Also, what area of the state are you in? Charlotte?
yessir. I'm sure we have some of the same friends.

Have they been canning a lot? I've had some crowlers from there and they were tasty.
They just opened a brand spanking new location last week (and their first that was a new build) that has gotta be 4x larger than either of their other locations... so expect a lot more cans. We were there last night and it was awesome.

Awesome.

I'm not a fan of the brewery, no. They have done some ****** things in the past regarding their handling of infection issues, their ticket "lottery" for the first Zwanze Day, and an overall smugness about local foraging. Even their initial membership was laughable in how they handled the grief they got when people wondered why they were charging $150 for 2 beers. Then it took them 18 months to release the member beers and made people re-up memberships before ever getting to try a member bottle. I usually try to give a brewery leniency for a couple of **** ups, but they kept on keeping on with theirs.

I kinda fell out of love with them when I asked their brewer/owner about a gushing bottle and he basically blamed it on me for taking it out of the fridge and leaving it on the counter for a whole 45 minutes rather than drinking it kitchen-fridge-cold.

Was that blendy 3 by chance? I forgot about that one. Bottles were either flat or un-*******-believably overcarbed.

I got lucky with my b3 bottles somehow. Basically all of 2017, the razzs, etc. were all over carbed. I didn't really mind as much as I didn't lose any due to volcanic eruptions (eh em de cam framboise all over my living room walls), but I heard the same about blendy 3. As mentioned, I'm not the biggest fan of one of their most important employees either.

Yep, sure was. I can't remember when exactly, but I had a pour of that in their Morganton bar and it was really good, so the bottle was extra disappointing.

Yeah they didn’t have a big enough tank to blend all the barrels so they guessed on carbing while blending barrels. Thus the wide variance in carb levels. Draft was fantastic if I recall correctly.

This makes no sense to me. Why not stagger the blending so that levels of carbonation are consistent across bottles. Some extra work? Sure. But do your job and do it right. They bought a farm but can't even get carb right on bottles.
