I almost had that happen once with a bunch of Floodland beer that the guy actually paid for. Didn't hear from him for over a month before he finally got in touch with me. Didn't take up much space in my garage, but I'd jokingly mention drinking them soon to friends.

$50 for a DD ticket?!?!? How is a DD ticket more than like $5 or $10 at most? You don't get any food with the ticket, don't get to drink, and have to be around sweaty neckbeards for 4 hours? That sounds like one of the outer circles of hell.
