It was more rhetorical but yeah I know. I hope he gives himself a puncture wound.
Yeah I mean they are pretty ******* cool
I´ve been on the list for those for a looong time, only 400 ahead of me now. They were 25$ and 50$ back when I signed up.
Don´t really want it now unless he can incorporate a corkscrew.
I'm not sure the current prices now but the ones that sell for insane money are always auctions that turn in to a big dick swinging contest.

They definitely are not.

I figured you for a "open beer with their eyesocket" kinda guy.

You ************ I was just about to make this joke

You name it, I have used it. Seat belt buckle, my wedding ring, sticks, rocks etc. Redneck ingenuity at it's peak. I'd use an eye socket or someones teeth if I had to.

I took my kids to all kinds of places when they were young and either in a carrier or a car seat. Once they became mobile it became a lot more selective and usually just for a family meal at place that happens to serve beer.

I take my (6 1/2 year old) kid everywhere she is welcome, but when we're out she's my priority. I make sure she is having a good time and entertained but also behaving herself. I cannot stand parents who don't actually parent their kid. Because of that we tend to avoid Fremont Brewing in the evenings and on weekends for the most part. Way too many checked out parents and crazy kids.

Great, I´ll have an update on this situation at the end of the month. Was kinda aiming at a late visit.

One of my earliest memories is of being in the local pub back in Ireland with my brother when were were like 5 and 3 years old, eating peanuts and drinking 7-Up at a corner table while our dad, grandad and the other old guys fixed the universe. Being a brat wouldn´t even have occurred to us.

My son is two and he has the strength of an ox and the speed of a cheetah. Even going to the Chick-fil-a can be an ordeal. I think I took him to an Iron Hill brewpub once when he was still in a car seat carrier. I can't even fathom taking him to a brewery right now.
Yeah, I don't understand taking your small children to a brewery. You should be taking your kids to playgrounds and parks and drinking out of a flask.

Boys are absolutely crazy at that age. Super glad I've got a girl, she's calm and well behaved whenever we're out.

I know it will be different when she's a teenager. But at least now things are normal.

I'm sure you've seen this a million times then:

Still hilarious.

I am the proud owner of two small male humans. I take them to a brewery with me maybe once per month or so. He loves playing shufflepuckboard, and he calls the place "the puck store." I also only go on Sundays when it's less busy, and even then I try a couple half pours, get my cans/crowlers, then hit the road. In my personal opinion, I think it's unfair to the kid to drag them to a brewery for hours at a time, but if they're seemingly happy, who gives a ****. I have no idea why people feel so strongly about this either way. Something else to bitch about, I s'pose.

Is not letting the terrible parents/kids anywhere an option? I'll sign that agreement.

If our kids are being shitheads while we are somewhere, we leave. I don't give a **** where it is, restaurant? To go boxes please. Grocery store? I'll leave that ******* cart right there and we are leaving. Hence why we don't go out to eat much as they are still terrible about half way through the meal since they are done eating and bored.

Ah the cart leaving is a classic move. Yeah and **** eating out, it's more expensive, removes an opportunity to teach cooking, and gives the child an unrealistic expectation of getting to choose what to eat for dinner.

I'm not some monster though, I take suggestions about dinner and put some favorites in the mix. Homemade pizza is always a hit and fun for everyone.
