20 Plato final gravity... Can't imagine the amount of calories in this beer thing.

Am I the only one who thinks that stout could be good...?
Outside of hypebros, yes, I think you might be the only one. I've had beers in the 1.040 territory that were so sweet that pours greater than 2oz made me want to puke - this beer is more than double that. This is akin to chugging one of those bottles of barrel aged maple syrup (which, now that I think of it, I'm sure some disgusting bastard has done already).

Am I the only one who thinks that stout could be good *if* they give it sufficient time in the barrel and don't add a bunch of sweet adjuncts to it?

Oh who am I kidding, of course that's what they are going to do.

Fried chicken in secondary shouldn't add much to the sweetness of that beer.

So you always make sure you taste a beer before you have any comment to make about it? So sorry for stepping on your toes based on the history of said brewer.

i tend to like to base my opinions on experience so.. yeah, i guess?

i've eaten some ******, ****** meals at Taco Bell but i'll be damned if i'm turning my nose up at their next culinary delight without trying it first.

Ever try drinking a full glass of unfermented wort based on a stout recipe?

You didn't? You seem to love policing people's comments on beers here. It's not like it's the first time you've made a post like that.

it probably stands out because i'm one of the few not piling on the "everything about beer sucks!" wagon?

when there are 100 "this beer sucks!" comments, the 1 that disagrees is going to be the tallest nail, knowwhatimean?

someone here is a data nerd enough to run the numbers and find out what percentage of beer related comments are negative vs. those that are positive. i'd be willing to bet that graph would be heavily slanted towards negativity.

I think there's a high likelihood I'll never eat Taco Bell again in my life to be honest.
If you think about it, Taco Bell is pretty much today's modern "adjunct-stout-brewery." "How can we attract more neckbeards to our locations? What if we made the shell out of snack chips and added more cheese than any human should reasonably consume?"

I hope I never have to at least. I could see getting suckered in on some school field trip in the future where it's not worth the fight about how ****** the food is vs. just sucking it up for one meal, but otherwise I really hope not. That goes for McDonalds, Burger King and pretty much every other fast food megachain as well.
