Does this sort of stuff get tapped at their DC location?
no, and never will unless they get some sort of refrigerated transport system or do some on site trickery/blending in DC

my understanding of these bruesicles is that at kegging time they add a ton of sugary things that will ferment out if not kept cold

The term "crushable" when describing beer needs to go away.

Honest question, and I pregret asking this, but why?

I use 'crushable' all the time when I'm talking about lawnmower beers that also taste very good. It's a nice shortcut rather than saying "lawnmower beer that also tastes very good." Also it makes me happy. What's wrong with that?

Because it sounds like something an idiot bro would say. "Brah this brewsky is so crushable!" You're an adult, speak like one.

Yeah see I say "fam" all the damn time. It pisses off raginasian238 so it's basically doubly great. I think language is a rapidly evolving thing and I love that. I don't get the whole "you're an adult, speak like one" thing that suggests that language can't evolve, or that young folk can't be catalysts to that evolution. That's weirdly "get off my lawn" and I try to avoid that whenever possible.

But ultimately it comes down to what ggfunk said and that's what my question was really trying to get to: why does it bother someone how someone else speaks? Live and let live, you know?

Hi welcome to the land of beer. We're all highly mature and emotionally secure grownups here.

I mean, most things piss me off.

And I have used "fam." It's "boo" and "bae" that make my skin crawl. Well aware you will say it even more now. I will bring earplugs to the anniversary just in case, packed neatly next to the Stabby knife.

Well, it doesn't, I was just providing the answer to your question. Ultimately most preferences like that are just meaningless peeves glommed onto for no particular reason. I try to avoid most words like that because I think they make people sound stupid, but to each their own. It's like people who don't respect someone unless they're in a suit, if you care about their opinion then it matters, if you don't, it doesn't.
