The distributor I got mine from this morning got 40 cases. I live in bumfuck central Pennsylvania, and I know at least one other location in this TOWN got cases in addition to that 40.

Anywhere near Hummelstown? My brother lives there and was seeking some, but he's hearing only one or two places, just a few cases and not until next Friday. Works crazy shifts/hours and usually misses anything that limited.

Not particularly (State College), but given how much State College got I would be shocked if Harrisburg didn’t get a lot too....

$22 + bottle of CBS when there's Boon Black Label on the shelf for $16. Not a hard decision.
But what if I like stouts more than sours?

I'm not sure how this is even possible.... but somehow, after 10 years of drinking craft... I still enjoy hyped beers. I know, it's a totally inconceivable notion. My palate must be broken.

You can't really like beer if you like stouts still, that makes you insufferable and intolerable and whatnot.

Why did you want it to be terrible?

So I could get on Beer Advocate and start a ******' thread about it.

I dunno.

I wasn't even going to buy a bottle, but the guy at my local shop held a bottle for me without me asking. I couldn't just not buy one. I wanted it to suck so I never had the urge to worry about buying it ever again.

But man, it was good.

I loved it. I think it tasted better this time around because I didn’t have to stand in line for it.
I feel you, but I didn't stand in line for this one or any previous years and, I dunno, this just wasn't very good.
Same. Had it and a 14 together a week or so ago, no comparison.
I've realized that I have entirely too many older bottles and have just been randomly drinking them, comparing this to an aged '12 is very, very unfair. Maybe it'll get there eventually, but I'm certainly not buying more than 3 I have left.

So I ain't know much about what hops taste like what and all that. But sometimes when I have a hazy IPA I get a taste that is almost like the mustard you get at a Chinese food restaurant. Maybe it's not hops and it's the yeast? Anyone else get that? Am I die?

Drank a '17 BCBCS yesterday and was solid but nothing like I remember older BCBCS. Coffee was a little weak and a tad vegetable/green pepper. BCBS >> BCBCS

I am glad I only ran into one BCBCS but got more regular and barleywine. SAD
