Drank a '17 BCBCS yesterday and was solid but nothing like I remember older BCBCS. Coffee was a little weak and a tad vegetable/green pepper. BCBS >> BCBCS

I am glad I only ran into one BCBCS but got more regular and barleywine. SAD
Drank about a gallon of Coffee BCS on Black Friday from various kegs around the city and it was the best it has ever been. No hyperbole. Hope the bottles don't suck.

Glad to hear it as BCBCS was one of my first WHOA moments in '13. Maybe a weak bottle or my FL weak palate. Has been a Christmas day tradition to drink one in the morning in my mug.

Hello fellow TalkBeerers!

I am a graduate student in the marketing program at Texas Tech University. I study branding, and Casey Brewing and Blending has been kind enough to allow me to send out this confidential survey so I can study how people that buy Casey view its branding and pricing. I'm not officially associated with the brewery so nobody at Casey Brewing and Blending will see any individual data, but I will share aggregate response scores with them to help them learn more about how their most dedicated consumers feel about the Casey brand and its pricing.

The survey isn't long, so please answer all of the questions as you go through it, even if many seem similar to each other. Only my research assistants and myself will view your responses, so please be honest!

Everybody that completes the survey will be automatically entered to win one of six $50 Amazon gift cards (and the raffle entry and your survey will be kept separate to ensure your anonymity).

I am extremely proud and happy to be a part of the TB community, and I want to say thank you in advance for the time and effort you take to compete this survey.

Thanks once more from a TalkBeer and beer enthusiast, and if you ever see me at a tasting, please come up and say hello!

Also, hopefully this doesn't rub people the wrong way, but feel free to reply in mildly infuriating gifs if it does. I previously posted this in the Casey forum but thought it might be better to get more eyes on it. Regardless, I'll do my best not to spam so I'll pump the breaks on reposting. Thanks everyone!

Miles

Post a picture of yourself with a spoon.

CBS update: Still none at Jewel-Osco down the block. It's like a desert out here. Don't know what I'll do.

*Sips 3rd can of Cafe Deth*
I had every intention to hit Jewel on my way to work Friday morning. I ended up having Cafe Deth on Thursday night finally. Saw that I still have 7 cans and a low grade hangover and decided I didn't need any CBS. This post is totally on point. Now I just need to set a phone alert for 30 minutes after I open a Cafe Deth that reminds that it was in fact 14.8% despite drinking so damn smooth.

...You guys liked the '17 BCBS? My wife and were both completely "meh" on it, thoroughly mediocre. Old ones are still on point.

100% agree. the only thing I was even remotely interested in this year is coffee and knob creek (haven't had prop). Coffee was also very meh. Northwoods tasted like if fruit loops were blueberry flavored. Not in a good way. The base isn't even close to the same as 13-14 anymore.

"Casey Brewing and Blending gives me pleasure"

I might need a clarification on what I'm answering here...

I went into it not remotely interested, and came away not impressed.

More at 11.

Basically the same story I have about being drug to a Sarah McLachlan concert in like 1997.
