The gas money thing is always rather funny. Like, if I asked you to drive to The Alchemist from Brooklyn and back so you could sell me Heady Topper I get paying for your trouble. But when dudes go up to the Alchemist on their own accord with the intent to sell the beer, charge $10 for 1 beer that is sold $12 a 4-pack to "cover their costs" that's just a bit much. I don't know what kind of MPG they're getting but I doubt they're spending over $150 on gas. Plus all they'd need to do is sell 8 $10 cans to make their money back on the case purchase. Bonus would be they just got people to buy them 16 cans of Heady.

I guess the problem is people paying $10 for Heady in line creating this type of demand in the first place.

How long until people are just injecting hops juice straight into their veins?

Funny you say that! Here is the details of my local brewery's release this weekend, which is a collab with Dogfish Head:

*WARNING* Bru-1 is an experimental hop from Dogfish Head. It's straight pineapples (like foreal foreal). Mosaic Lupulin Cryo Hops are straight outta some alien planet that may or may not house water past or present, and if that isn't enough Moteuka is....well, it's fun to say alright

Now let's talk nerd deets. This brew goes against the grain (get it?) as it was brewed w/ zero kettle hops. We knocked out warm (150F) onto Mosaic Lupulin Powder. As a homage to the OG's at Dogfish this beer has been "continually hopped" with the above. Forget double dry hopping, this joint has been dry hopped every day of fermentation and will continue to be until it's conditioned for packaging (like big package, packaging). Now go take a breather and calm yourself down. As you were Burial Beer Co.

This is one of the dumbest beer descriptions I've never read.

Not sure which is more revolting, this masturbatory description or mosaic hops.

It's very appropriate they tagged Burial Beer Co in this post, because a lot of their new beer release announcements/descriptions are similarly obnoxious.

What's worse are the fanboys who preach like they are the greatest brewery in the state because they are (i think) the only ones who put IPA's in 16 oz cans and "release" them.

I really do like their brewery, but 16 oz cans have a psychological effect on the shitlords

I couldn't agree more. I enjoy their beer, but it is nothing that warrants the hype it gets.
