Not to mention familiarity with public speaking or presenting on camera. Qualified or not, I doubt Epicurious would want to take the risk on a random schlub with no real video experience - even if they're from a notable local brewery.
But how ******* great would be watching Shaun Hill awkwardly fumble through something like this?

Absolutely. I just don't understand, with the emergence of Transmission, Other Half, Threes, LIC, Interboro, Industrial Arts, and all the other next wave NYC breweries, that they still just hit up Garrett every time.
My mom knows who Garrett Oliver and Sam Caligione are.

That’s the difference, lol.

An old trading partner from South Carolina sent me some Bells BA Expedition....

It is ******* glorious. If you have the chance to buy some, do it. If stouts arnt your thing...buy it anyway. Holy ****, I want a case or more of this stuff to just hammer on the rest of the winter.

Agreed- great stuff!
Absolutely love regular old expo too... call me crazy but might even like it better

So who was the dimwitted turd that suggested they make an orange BCBS this year? It tastes like a regz BCBS that was poured into a glass that was last used for orange juice and never got rinsed.
This is what an orange zest imperial stout should taste like:

Fair State FSB 2018

In the past, they had brewed a variation of this with Belgian yeast, which left something to be desired. They went for it this year with oats, a broader malt bill, vanilla, and orange zest... clocking in at 13.9%.

Holy fook.

Might be the best non-BA imperial stout that I have ever had.

I could have sworn a saw a pic of it on a shelf at a distributor in PA. I had an 18 month old reg Expedition and it was excellent.

Better than Marshal Zhukovs?

I was curious about that one. Might have to give it a spin.

****, kicking myself for not getting any.

This thought popped into my head the other day. I wonder what one beer is/was the most sent via mail in trades.

I'm sure for a while there is was Pliny the Elder but then maybe it became Heady Topper?

I'll also accept Smokey and the Bandit gifs as a response.

Everyone of those has been shipped at least a dozen times

tl;dr after explicitly telling all club members (and purchasers of public bottles) not to sell their bottles, Floodland have cancelled someone's order after finding out it was being 'razzled' (ugh) and are charity raffling it. Comments are full of the very worst people

Looks like they deleted negative comments because it’s all support now
Strange world when breweries call out a person by name appealing for a trade embargo.
