I had the bourbon barrel aged Shiner beer at GABF. Felt like they could have worked out a better recipe. Nothing wrong with it but there will be better similar beers on the shelf at the same price. Basically a typical Shiner move.

They better get that fresh hop out ASAP, especially with nationwide distribution.
Do those special releases make it wide now?

In Florida we used to get Shiner Bock and Shiner Blonde and that was it.

We have approximately 37 varieties of Shiner on the shelf here at any given time (okay maybe not that many, but sometimes it feels like it)

EDIT: Look at this madness.

What is this knobhead talking about? any actual information about what Fed EX or UPS are doing, or is this his usual nonsense?

This is the last time we will ever be allowed to stock these three extremely popular beers:

· Quilters Irish Death

· Ground Breaker Dark Ale (Gluten Free)

· Ground Breaker IPA No. 5 (Gluten Free)

No games here. This is your final chance to load up.

In fact, you may not find many craft beers online ever again after these massive changes get pushed through...

If you've been a fan of buying beer online these past several years, count yourself lucky because it looks to all be coming to an end.

Individual states have been slowly tightening the noose on couriers who ship beer. Even where shipments are perfectly legal.

Fed Ex and UPS are on the cusp of banning all beer shipments due to massive pressure from the busy-body regulators.

You know the type.

The word we are getting from both Fed Ex and UPS is all beer shipments will be 100% prohibited to every state in the country.

This could happen within two to three weeks.

Most online craft beer retailers have no idea what's about to hit them.

But we see the writing on the wall. And the message is loud and clear. The days of buying beer online are over.

That's why we are moving with lightning speed to offer you one final shot at some of the most prestigious beers brewed anywhere on earth.

We guarantee to get these beers delivered to you one final time. But this is it.

A couple weeks from now our entire store and everything we've brought to you these past six years will likely disappear.

If I haven't said it before, thank you for your loyalty over the years. People like you who came back time and time again for our local crafts kept our small store alive.

Time to stock your cellar one last time.

The end is very near.

Cheers,

Matthew

P.S. Breakside IPA and Wanderlust IPA are two of Oregon’s most famous small-brewery IPAs and, sadly, today is the final time we’ll ever have either of these bottles as well. I highly recommend ordering a few 6-packs while you can.

The BIIR lambic is pretty good, the rest of their beer is solid but not terribly exciting.
