Hi new to the brew game...
I got advice that adding a extra 200grams of sugar will lift the alcohol level to about 7% is this true?
And if so, should my hydrometer sink more? past the yellow marker???

How do i tell what my percentage is?
Thanks

Adding sugar can increase the Alcohol content
You need to take sg and fg hydrometer readings and do a calculation to work out the alchohol content.

You'll need to do a bit of reading to figure it all out.

If your soul intention is higher alchohol content then it's probably easier to buy store bought brews.

Good luck with the brewing.
