I saved a big mason jar of the yeast and trub from my last batch. If I reconstitute this jar of pretty solid slush and let it settle, could I brew by tomorrow by pitching in the top stuff?

The yeast is probably going to be UNDER most of the trub.

I take it you meant slurry, not slush. Freezing isn't nice to yeast.

Basically, how should I take this jar of pretty goopy stuff and reclaim yeast for my brew?
