Has anyone ever tried or have seen a recipe with both lager and ale yeasts together?

I was wondering what would happen if I threw it in along with my next ale brew which would probably be an oatmeal stout.
Yooper said:I would suspect that if anything, the lager yeast at ale temperatures would give weird fruity flavors as well as some sulfur. It might not do all that much, though. But I sure wouldn't risk a batch of beer and ferment a lager yeast at ale temps.
