because i forgot to split the yeast starter.

Split a 10 gallon batch into two frementers and set them at 80 f for wlp 655 which I pitched in the first frementer.

The second one I had to get another wlp 665 because they were out of 655.

Anyway when I cracked the brew bucket open it had some foam on the top but I pitched anyway after 7 days at 82. I need to turn down the temp to 72 f per the white labs for that yeast strain the upper limit for ideal was 68-80. The other one 655 was 70-86 f.

Question is should it be okay the second batch with the delayed? I am about 24 hrs after pitch and no activity yet in that frementer.

When I get home I will cook it down to 72.

Base solera receipt is 60/40 Pilsner and wheat with a little victory malt for color.
