I'm sure there are a thousand posts about this, could somebody point me to a good one? I made a counter-flow chiller (very proud of myself
and used it for the first time. It only got the wort down to about 76 F. My packet of Safale 05 (dry) was at somewhere between 60 and 65 F. My options were to deploy my immersion chiller (lots of messing about at this point in the game) or call it close enough. So I pitched it. That was at noon on Saturday. after 24 hours I had no activity which never has happened to me with 05.
