I made an experimental starter for my propagator with 1.25L H2O with 3oz of Dextrose (Priming sugar). Its been about 24 hours and no slurry or krausening. Can anyone offer an thoughts as to whether this may work? Thanks.

I heard, Dextrose makes the yeast lazy. Alot of food but not much nurishment..if that can make sense. When you pitch it into Malt/wort it will not be as strong and might shock it. Thats what i've heard good luck.
