I misplaced the instructions for the kit I recently brewed. What is the standard procedure for using priming sugar?
To expand on that, it's best to put this boiled sugar solution into the bottling bucket before you rack your beer into it so it gets mixed thoroughly.Nothing's standard, but generally accepted is: 3/4 cup corn sugar or 1 1/4 cups DME boiled for 10 minutes in 2 cups of water. That's for a 5-gallon batch. Mostly it depends on the beer, co2 volumes and size of the batch.
