Hi all, i have a problem. I organized a party for friends, and made a lot of beer. My problem is, that 60 liter is in 3 pressure barrels, and i realized, that i'm not gonna be able to keep them cool at the venue. They are in the barrels for 2 weeks now.

Do you think it can be an option, to transfer them to bottles? Should i add a bit more sugar to them? Can it ruin them?

Hello and welcome. I do this quite often, make sure to sanitize the bottles and it is rather easy. As for adding additional priming sugar, I have never done it and my beer has never been under carbonated even weeks later.
A picnic tap, a rubber stopper and a racking cane. Here is a video.

Cheers....:mug:

Thanks a lot for the info! Do you think, that the picnic tap, the rubber stopper and the racking cane is mandatory? Can't i do it with just the tap on the keg?

There are no shops for this kind of tools here, i should order online, and that would take weeks...

Sorry, I saw Romania and was afraid of that. If you have a hose a rubber stopper (or a modified cork) the hose will fit threw and a way to turn on and off the flow you could do the same thing.

The idea is to introduce the beer to the bottom of the bottle without releasing the Co2 or introducing Oxygen to your beer. With the hose at the bottom you push all the air out the bottle while you are filling.

Cheers....

Thanks, now i understand! I think i can DIY something like that. Cheers

(I'm going to open a shop like that here. So these problems for others will be solved here soon ;)
