Pressure Transfer Anvil Fermenter

So I’m gonna give it a go and try a pressure xfer on my anvil fementer. The problem I’m running into is that the barb on the fermenter is 1/2”. But the Barb on the ball locks are 1/4”. So do I need a barb reducer? One of those plastic pieces that has a 1/2” barb on one side and 1/4” on the other? Is that going to be an issue for the xfer going from 1/2” to 1/4” going into a keg?

I don’t plan on going much more than 1 or 2 lbs of gas pressure. Just enough to push it into the keg.
