I'm hearing $125 now because of a nonelective t-shirt. Just what we need for winter.

I like their adjunct-free IPAs, but everything else is too much for me. The regular Double Stack is gross.
I agree with this assessment, but even if this was a brewery I liked, I still wouldn't be buying this. $100-$125 for 1 L of beer with a bottle opener and a glass? **** OFF with that ****.

And please don't respond that it comes in a fancy box. Those boxes are just a justification to jack up the prices even further because of the perceived fanciness.

I feel like you're not giving due respect to the Double Stack™ branded beanie.

All of the stuff is just an excuse to charge more. If the $125 price tag is accurate, you're paying $62.50 for a 500ml bottle with some bonus Happy Meal toys.

Gotta say, I guess we don't see eye to eye on beer. Could care less about Ruse and how they handled 3 Way. Think GN are dicks for charging what they are for 2 bottles of beer.

I knew with the limited quantity of the beer that it would be stupid. However they sell it people will be pissed. I know Ruse is new and trying to get business, but jeez let Fort George announce their own beer collaboration.

Curious what you mean by "announce." Obviously they're doing test batches, and if Ft. George wanted it secret, they probably would have asked them not to tap it. If they made some other announcement, I am unaware of it.

Uhh, it's been known for a while that Ruse and Cloudburst we're the other two breweries. Like a good while.

Yeah, because of Ruse. In the past Fort George has always made the announcement via their social media. The most important thing is hopefully it's better than this years 3 Way. Talk about a disappointment.

Can you site specific evidence of this? Because I haven't seen any evidence of this.

Additionally, I loved this year's 3 Way. Best since the Boneyard version.

I witnessed it myself at the bar. They weren't trying to be secret about it. That was a good 2 months ago.

I witnessed that myself, as I was also told that by the bartender a couple months ago. I would hesitate to call that an announcement. Can't blame them for being excited.

Anyway, let's get back to talking about the real issues, like a brewery charging $60 for a 500 ml bottle.

Who's doing that?
