Agreed. If they can keep up the consistency batch to batch (remains to be seen from any 1 Industrial Way brewery...) I'll buy that over Swish every time for $2 less.

Swish shocked me- both in how much I didn't like it and how much people rave about it. I haven't had the Foundation DIPA yet, so hopefully it will be better for me.

Bissell is a cool place and I hope they continue to do well, but for the life of me, I don't understand the hype around the beer. It's totally solid, and that's about it.

Wow looks like Mattina Rossa b2 will see limited distro (whenever it's released) according to Allagash FB. Wasn't expecting that! Will be nice not to have to wait hours in line.

There were a LOT of 2012 barrels in the barrel room - I think I counted 16 at one point and I'm sure I didn't see them all. I'm still kind of surprised it's being distroed, but didn't think it was gonna be any kind of super limited release deal.

I have to agree with you there. I was also bummed when my wife and I went up to Portland for a few days around Christmas, and tried doing all 4 breweries on the industrial park road and they had closed at 2pm due to running out of beer. I guess that's a byproduct of the hype.

I'll be going to Portland the weekend of the 21st and I'm looking for a couple of 4-packs of Substance and Swish.
I don't I can get to the brewery before 3pm and I'm afraid they might be gone by then.
I can bring some Other Half Green Diamonds and other NY distro, I'm also planning to stop in Tree House on my way up there. I'm new here but I've traded in that other side and instagram.

BTW, this thread has been a great help in planning my visit.

Substance shouldn't be an issue, even at 3. Might even get lucky with there still being Swish - think it latest past 4p the last release.

If they end up being out when you get there, keep your eye on Bier Cellar's FB/IG/Twitter. They usually get it the next day, a little after they open (12p). Even as a local, this is what I do because I don't really care for the crowds at Bissell

Whats going on all up in Maine?
Trying to get some of that foundation epiphany love down here in N.Y. I have plenty to trade or a goandpickitupformebro. Message if you can help.
Cheers Steve

Right. There's lots of great people on this site who do that. The ISO:FT forum is useful in finding them.
