Had to replace popits on a ball lock corny. No matter what I do I can't get one of them to set right. It is always off center and leaks like there is nothing there. I took the valve into the lhbs to make sure I got the right popit and one of the two fits correctly, but I can't seem to get the second one to flush and seal when screwed down. Any tips / tricks?

Try putting a little keg lube or unscented Vaseline on the rubber.
