About 2005 Mr. Mike Zapolski started a spreadsheet to help with mead recipe planning. The last time it was updated seems to be 2008.
I located a copy of that spreadsheet and used it as the basis for an expanded version that has information regarding SNA protocols and lots of additional information and references.
The notion is to help design your recipe
Pick the amount of honey, cider, water, juice, etc. See the results in batch size and OG. Now fiddle with the parameters until you have your OG and batch size.
The remainder of the sheet is intended to help manage the process and supply additional information.
