That's one of my favorite areas of the city to get sexy drunk in. Keep your head on a swivel fam.

I'm taking extra precaution this weekend. That means applying The Club on my car when I park and rocking the chain link wallet so no busters try to jack me up and snake my dead presidents. Thanks for the words of advice homie.

Buddy's has vertical 4 packs of backwoods bastard for $15. 2x16, 1x15, and 1x17. Pretty sweet deal if you ask me (and infinitely better than $17 for a single lost abbey 375 or $7 for a singlecut can)

Thought dadavat was exaggerating about the Ace Hotel gym, but then seeing pics of it on IG today made me squint hard to see if Jim Carroll was passed out somewhere in the crowd.

From their website:

"The gym offers style, grace, and a nostalgic nod to the sporting history of pgh"

The only thing it really offers is a good reason to get a tetanus shot.

I can't believe people still go to this. This line up looks more like a punishment than a good time to me.

I might need someone to explain the flight arrangements to me. Just saw the explanation for no verticals, but still not sure what the beers in each flight have to do with each other or the song/flight title.

I'm going, my pal got me a tic, so i'm gonna make the best of it come hell or high watermelon.

In my hot-ass opinion that SHOOT TO THRILL one looks pretty good. Old Crusty's age dopely in my experience, and those Ola Dubh's are pretty much fire emoji's their entire existence. I've had that Rhinegeist before and it's interesting, and i'm gonna need some hops so that fresh bigfoot will be nice for my t-buds.

Will bang all the Foghorn and Olde School that they let me.

Would love to have the option of Lustra or GenBrad or Rapture or something just to break it up a little. A few years ago i stubbled into Harris after HWTLO and drank the best 2hearted i've ever had in my life. It was like discovering hops for the first time.

yeah there'd be some new ticks for me on there, like great lakes babw. I had an infected bottle of that rhinegeist beer a months ago that tasted like the sour cherry 2015 bcbw. They said they were going to send me a refund but i haven't gotten anything yet...

That's rough luck on the Rhinegeist, the one i had was really earthy and peppery and caramelly IIRC. Nothing tart or funky. It's not something i'd slam on the T ride out to Dormont but it was a nice sipper.

I'm going to be in PGH (Sewickley, really). I would love to try some Dancing Gnome and I see that they can - they even have a release on Saturday. Is this a shitshow or would I likely be able to roll in mid-afternoon and grab some cans? I don't really care about any specific release, I've just been trying to keep up on the PGH breweries. Going to try to make it Brew Gentlemen, too, but again, probably just picking up, not staying.

Also - what's up with Drai Laag changing its name? They made some weird ****, but it wasn't bad.

If you are in line by 12 Saturday you should be good for cans. 1 PM may be pushing your luck.

And most in this thread dont pay much attention the brewery with two names.

Tried Fury's Sweet Karate Moves and Hitchhiker's Here and There while at Pig Iron this weekend. Both were really nice, crushable ipas.

Thanks. I'd really be looking just to get in and our in the shortest time possible. Not looking to mess with lines.
