I love how they couldn't think of new ideas, so they came up with an old school packaging "variant" that costs $6 more than the regular bottle thats only 3.4 less ounces.

They could try making BA Grat not be awful... That would be an idea. The can I had of last years batch tasted like someone dumped a fistful of dirt in it.

I thought the first year of BA Grat was really damn good. Subtle barrel character that highlighted the what made the base beer so good (when it was "on").

Was the second release when they went to the cans? I think that was the one that was way too sweet with almost no barrel character.

Haven't had it since then.

Yeah I thought the first year was decent. But whatever they put into cans last year was pretty bad.

So...the limited, premium, wax dipped Gratitude is the base beer and the common sit around on the shelves for a bit in a can Gratitude is bourbon barrel aged? And the per ounce price is cheaper for the barrel aged than the non barrel aged? Obviously I'm missing something here, right?

Tbf this is the same brewery that screwed up a batch of BigHop and sold it anyway. At least they had the decency to call it something else that time.

It got posted in a few of the FB groups, with no context that I've seen. One person claimed the letter was sent to someone in Virginia, apparently in response to getting caught shipping beer, but I don't know if that's verified or not. Like I said, seems like it could be a hoax, but I don't know.

One time a dingus shipped me beer through USPS and they broke something. They still delivered the box but along with it came a note about how I could be subject to investigation by the ATF or something.

Me: OK

Could very well be something like that, although sent to the sender not the recipient. Any lawyers on here? Would the PA State Police or LCB have any jurisdiction to go after someone from another state that ships into PA?

Highly doubt someone would go through the time of putting a real person's name from the lcb on it, and thereby forging his signature on a fake document.

Anyone that is going for Grat and willing to snag me a paper wrapped version? I'm nostalgic I guess. I'm also out of town
