Looks like I'm heading to Olympia, WA for a few days in a couple of weeks. Aside from Holy Mountain, what do I need to hit?

Definitely just chug Olympia beer.. as much of it as possible. When that gets old switch to Rainier.

I haven't really spent much time there, but I remember it being kind of a cool, maritime little downtown. Fish Tail is an old standard. I see Three Magnets on google maps, maybe worth checking out? Seattle/Holy Mountain will be about a 1:30 drive, expect traffic. Parking around HM isn't the greatest, but find a way thru to the back by the train tracks, I think there's some back there. Totally worth it. Seriously. If you want other Seattle pub rec's, feel free to text me.

On one of the facebook pitts beer groups someone mentioned woke to be on tap Sunday at Hitchhiker but no details .... Any more info/location etc as I'd like to snag a growler and maybe some other coffee beers for an upcoming coffee/breakfast themed party ... jagoffbrewer

Right now we currently are on our last few kegs of The Shakes Coffee Porter brewed with Honduras Finca Cual Bicicleta which has a lot of dark fruit and nutty notes ( ;)), only on tap in Sharpsbizzle. Sunday at both locations we are releasing Woke which is brewed with PA Maple Syrup from Paul Family Farms and conditioned on Vanilla Beans, Vietnamesse Cinnamon, and Mexican Oaxaca Coffee. We are purging the BBT as we speak and it should be pretty tasty. Both coffees are organic/free trade from 19 Coffee Company which just absolutely kills it IMHO.

Anytime, I expect The Shakes to last but with the dramatic change in weather it's likely to be selling more. Keep an eye on our new site for updated draft lists, www.hitchhiker.beer
