Palette? Don’t ask…. don’t care! Not when I have one of THESE to drink!

(besides, it will show up….)

How do you explain this one? Doppelbock Dunkles Starkbier. Basically means it is a Double Bock, Dark Strong Beer! Big and malty, Weihenstephaner has done it again! Korbinian is a big malty beer, 7.4% ABV and drank all year long - but really designed for Monk fasting in early Springtime. Liquid bread!

Eh, I guess I’m a bit of a contrarian here, I enjoy this best as we are rolling into Autumn and into the Winter months. Big malty beers like this are the ones you cuddle up next to before a long winter’s nap! Besides, who’s fasting? …. ! Prost!

The hidden beer pallet mystery has taken another strange turn, and I find I’m another victim of the Fickle Finger of Fate! So here I am waiting and Waiting and WAITING for that late pallet to show up with its concealed stash of 14 delicious East Coast seasonal brews unavailable to us in the West. My fear is there are two guys sitting on some loading dock getting loaded up on the Beermeister32 spoils and good fortunes! That's when my office manager lady walks in and tells me, “Oh, I had requested that pallet be delivered on Friday.”

FRIDAY???? Seems I’m the last to know! As usual! Here I’m sweating it out, filling in daily beer writings with whatever I can find from the expansive and temperature-controlled Beermeister32 Bierhoard, and folks around here aren’t worried at all! Obviously no Beer-thusiests around here!

I guess maybe I shouldn’t worry either. I mean after all, when there are still tasty German Altbiers to conquer, what am I complaining about? … C’mon!

Three Weavers has been here before. Today I’m drinking a fantastic Dinkster full of their yummy Volksbier. What a GREAT brew. Make some more! Track it down if you can find it! Prost!

Margarita, made from one of those crappy canned 5% marg cocktails I seem to find in the back of the fridge. All I have to do is add a little tequila and Cointreau, and a splash of lime juice to brighten it up.

Thus, the canned cocktail becomes merely an expensive margarita mix.

Didn't turn out half bad!

HB almost-marzen turned out better-than-almost this time around. And yes, probably the wrong glass to be drinking it from.
