Just joined up here because I'm moving to Pittsburgh in a couple of months and this seems to be the best Pittsburgh beer forum/thread/etc. I'm sure I'll mostly be lurking until I actually move and settle in, but a couple quick questions first:

I'll be heading over to Pittsburgh this weekend for the week. Last time I was in the area I hit Dancing Gnome, Grist House, Draai Laag, Church, Fatheads, and Wigle whiskey. This time I'm planning on getting to Brew Gentlemen, Voodoo, and Hitchhiker. Any other must visits? Also, I'm planning on bringing some stuff out with me, any bottle shares or similar type things? I'd love to share some of what we have and get to try some of what Pittsburgh has to offer that I might otherwise not get to.

Last question, what is the good word on new breweries coming in? I know of Trios and Eleventh Hour, are there any others?

Thanks in advance for any tips.
Can you bring Kinney a Julius can so he can be disappointed ?

Roundabout and Insurrection are the other 2 I'd recommend checking out. Roundabout just for the beer, Insurrection for beer and food.

No sign of it, but I think it hasn't been in the market long.

Ok, guess I better track it down soon then. Might be the only time I ever get to try it fresh. They had it on tap last sunday when I was at the wing festival there, but I passed assuming it would taste like their prior attempts at an IPA. Somehow they didn't have Kaiser on tap, which pissed me off, great beer.

Abjuration in McKees Rocks (located in the same building as a movie theater), Spring Hill in Spring Hill.

Don't follow this thread. Its the worst.

Anybody know anything about this?

No, but any chance those came from Hitchhiker?

The Voodoo cans were really good, and had a chance to be ballpark favorites. But instead of Nutting going all-in and buying enough for the rest of the season, he figured he would just let East End Big Hop get them through the rest of this bridge year.

If enough fans come to the games over the next two years, he might reward them by spending more on good beer.

But probably not.

My wife just walked back from the "pa beer stand" with what she says is "the Voodoo beer" but I wasn't with her. She said the label was "purple"? Is this accurate? What am I drinking right now?

I like it
