Agreed. For me, it's Oro > Bomb! > Cake > Huna > Abraxas. I'd love to see Voodoo release non-barreled GNVP on a semi-regular basis in addition the barreling it but dare to dream.

Fine, I'll play your game.

For me it's Huna > Oro >> Cake/Bomb >>>>>> Abraxas

Never liked Abraxas much or any of the variants. Green peppers up the wazoo...especially with the coffee one.

Yeah, not sure I follow. It's extremely redundant, and probably could've just read, "We made another IPA; you're all gonna buy it," but it's gotta be hard to come up with new stuff to say about IPAs all the time.
Meh, I remember someone here being a professional copywriter about Grist House and their peppy words to describe their beer. This reminded me of that. I'll go back to my usual shitposting.

This is still - by far - my favorite Beer Description from the Beaver Brewing website:

"One of my personal favorite beers at the brewery will be pouring this weekend. The Brown Note is an English Brown made with a unique seasonal malt which adds an incredibly unique “Brown” flavor to the beer.

I always describe it as “picture a macro brewed brown ale…now add flavor…and reduce the ABV.” The Brown Note comes in only at 3.8% ABV and I challenge you to find a maltier flavored beer at that same ABV."

Emphasis is mine.

I need a can of Live Oak Hefe for science and sex, any of you dudes know how to score one? I'll pay cash.

i think i just gave my last one to a friend yesterday or it could have been all yours. i'll double check the fridge to make sure there isn't another hiding somewhere.

Pretty surprising list here...check out number 33?!?!

That's crazy. Although I will say, last time I was back in town I got the Penn IPA in a sampler. I was shocked as to how much better it had gotten. It was actually good.

I had it ~1 year prior to that and it tasted like it was scooped out of jagoffbrewer 's dumpster with a rusty ladle.

Grabbed some phantasmagoria from WF yesterday..... $9 bottles for Bomb! and Birthday bomb! Really? ****.
