The two best drummers I've ever seen are Ben Koller from Converge and Billy Rymer from Dillinger Escape Plan. I bet wyckydsceptre could attest to at least one of these.
if ur like me and can watch hours of drumming vids, def check out these dudes

matt halpern, periphery
matt garstka, animals as leaders

i've seen videos of the guy from periphery before. he is ridiculous. i don't think i've heard too much from animals as leaders though. i'll check it out.

Craziest kit I've seen live is Damon Che from Don Cab...can't find a decent pic though cause the internet is ******* useless. Just take my word for it.
Electrical Audio's site has some pics from the American Don sessions. He loves his toms, but I don't see this as too crazy.

I'm more of a Greg Saunier kind of guy myself. Bass, snare, hi-hat, crash - dude gets it done.

I remember seeing them play after World Class Listening Problem hit and there was quite a bit more going on than that...but it might ultimately just be his flailing style that makes me think he's got **** all over. They did call him The Octopus for a reason...

Any of you Pittsburgh ninjas happen to have a Philly hook up? I'm trying to help out a trade partner by nailing down a four pack of Technicolor Splendor from TH. I put up a FT here, over at the evil place and in the No BS Facebook group offering DG Better One or Two and not so much as a mouse fart from anywhere.

Seeing as how they released a whopping 250 cases of Technicolor to a measly 60 cases of DG today, that didn't seem unreasonable to me.

Anywho, if any of you maybe have a way to help a brother out, lemme know.

The first show I ever went to of my own accord was at the beaverdome. Mighty Mighty Bosstones opening for Live in 1994.

I saw one of my first shows at the CCBC dome too. It was Primus and Blink 182. Primus was touring on the Brown Album at the time.

In terms of drummer talk, two of the best that I've seen live were Kai Hano from Rotten Sound at Roboto and Ronald Bruner Jr with Kamasi Washington in Morgantown of all places. Just absurd.

Also, DG's HBD Hart beer at the Deli last night was pretty tight.

beerman6686 or anyone else heading to DG, if you are not buying the allotment of Better One or two and wouldn't mind grabbing a 4-pack I would take one. I am out of town for work through next Wednesday, so I could plan to meet up later next week.
